ABSTRACT OIL PAINTINGS...

Japanese Lantern #2 - '75
This is in my personal collection and despite the title this one is "Dave and Jen" in my mind. As an abstract it can be anything the viewer responds to. I see two figures, one kinetic and frenetic, the other patient and secure. It's Dave and Jen. It serves as my touchstone to them. -and although I have a beautiful Ben Konis painting of my Pop and a magical Skip Harwick portrait of my Mom, this funny abstract piece by my Father represents my parents perfectly to me. -C.W.LEATHER COLLAGES
Perhaps the medium he is most often associated with is the Leather Collage. Simply assembling straps and pieces of leather seems easy enough, but each piece he produced had his style and imagination stamped indelibly. He produced dozens if not hundreds of these.
